If your dog has a bite history or serious reactivity, we can help. Safety comes first and we will outline a clear management plan. When indicated, we condition a muzzle in a positive way so your dog can learn safely.

Our approach
We use a balanced method that pairs high-value rewards with fair, well-timed corrections once your dog understands an exercise. We add structure, clear communication, and calm repetition. This creates a dog that is confident, responsive, and able to function in daily life. Field trips and public exposures are added when your dog is ready.

Owner involvement
Owner training starts during the program. You will meet with us weekly to practice handling, ask questions, and learn how to keep progress going at home. The go-home session is our deep dive where we transfer everything to you. We stay until you are comfortable. After graduation you receive two free follow-up lessons and ongoing access for questions.

Frequently asked questions.
Will my dog listen to me after the program?
Yes. Weekly owner sessions during the stay, a detailed go-home, and two free follow ups make sure the training transfers to you. We also give you a video library and written plan so you can keep the habits strong.
Do you work with aggressive or reactive dogs?
Yes. We create a safety plan, condition a muzzle when needed, and move at a pace that keeps everyone safe while still making progress.
What training tools do you use?
We use food, toys, markers, and fair corrections when your dog understands a behavior. We do not rely on head halters or front clip harnesses. If an e-collar is recommended, we will teach you how to use it correctly and humanely.
How will I get updates?
You will get clear communication about progress and what to practice in your weekly owner sessions. We also share videos that document your dog’s new skills.
Can my dog go on field trips?
Yes, once your dog is ready. Field trips help generalize skills to the real world. We build calmly and carefully.
Is Board and Train right for my puppy?
Puppies benefit from structure, confidence building, and safe exposures. We will tailor the program to age and energy level.
